SARAH

Sarah Easterman trained at Theatre Nepean and College of Fine Arts. Her practice spans comedy, cabaret, drag, installation, sculpture, and performance. Her work explores the intersections of queer narratives, gendered domestic hierarchies and the terrestrial aesthetics of motherhood. The current focus of her storytelling is examining the power of humour, in helping define how we exist. Recent theatrical performances include Born of a Lightbulb it Seemed for Brand X, JobReady at Sydney Fringe Festival and Milkmilklemonade at the Sydney Mardi Gras Festival.  She has had exhibitions at Kudos gallery and Gallery 55 and created work with several artists including Kate Mitchell and Jessica Maurer.
